1. Accepting these terms

These terms apply between you and AIONEM.net, KN 70 St, Kigali, Rwanda, when you use aionem.net, create an account or sign in, request a quote, place an order, or use any of our services. By doing so you accept them. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” then means that organisation.

A signed quote, proposal or contract for a specific project or service takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

2. Our services

We provide software development (mobile applications, websites, AI-powered software and system integration), IT support, consultancy and training, web, application and VPS hosting, domain registration, business email and website security, and the sale of computers, smartphones, servers, networking equipment, accessories and software.

What you are entitled to receive is what your quote, order or plan describes. We may improve or change our services; if a change materially reduces something you have already paid for, we tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused part.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password secret. If you sign in with Google, the security of your Google account is part of the security of your AIONEM.net account.
• You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by people you give access to.
• Tell us at once if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Quotes, orders and payment

Quotes are valid for the period they state. An order is accepted when we confirm it or start the work. Prices are those shown in the quote or at the time you order, and include tax only where stated.

Invoices are due on the date they state. Hosting, domain and email services renew for the same term unless you cancel before the renewal date. If a payment is late we remind you, and after written notice we may suspend the service concerned until it is paid.

5. Hosting, domains and email

Domains are registered in your name, or in the name you give us, under the rules of the registry concerned, including RICTA for .rw domains, and those rules form part of these terms. You are responsible for renewing on time; a domain that expires may be lost to another registrant. You keep backups of the content you host with us unless your plan includes backups.

6. Products

Products are delivered to the address you give us, and the risk passes to you on delivery. Products carry the warranty of their manufacturer or the warranty stated in your order. Returns and refunds follow our Refund policy.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use our services or our website to:

• break the law or help anyone else break it;
• send spam, or host phishing, malware, or fraudulent or illegal content;
• attack, overload or probe our systems or anyone else’s, or get around a limit or a security control;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.

We may suspend a service that is being used in breach of this section. Report abuse at Report Abuse.

8. Your content and intellectual property

You keep every right you hold in the content and data you give us or host with us. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process, back up and display it so we can provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to use that content and for its lawfulness.

Unless a contract says otherwise, the rights in software we build for you pass to you once it has been paid for in full, except for our pre-existing tools and components, which we license to you for use with that software. Our website, brand and materials remain ours.

9. Privacy

We handle personal data as our Privacy policy describes.

10. Warranties and liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, they are provided as they are, without further warranty.

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using our services and close your account at any time; services already paid for are refunded only as our Refund policy provides. We may suspend or end a service that is used in breach of these terms or remains unpaid after notice.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, and the courts of Kigali have jurisdiction. Before going to court, both parties agree to raise the dispute in writing and try to settle it within thirty days.

13. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we publish the new version here with its date. Changes apply from that date to new orders, and to existing services from their next renewal.
